I think it's much tougher for you to tell me what I'll be feeling. Most of the guys I've talked to wish they were still flying. Different strokes for different folks. I don't like people putting an age limit on my usefulness. Yes it's about the money, but it's not all just about the money. I've never regreted what I do. I've put up with all the crap and still like it. It's what I was built for. You guys talk like you still have the same crappy schedules which isn't true. My neighbor has been flying for UPS since 1989. He's a young guy still but he's wealthy and doesn't have to do it anymore. He chooses to do it. He loves it and says he doesn't know what he'll do with himself once he's done.
You're right when you say it's tough to forecast. That it is. But what if at that point I do still "want" to keep flying. Wouldn't it suck to have someone tell me "tough luck"? If it's what makes me or those guys happy then let them have it. I don't think the age limit should have ever been there to start with.
