My main purpose in being here is to try to get others to do some critical thinking about what they're being told by DALPA (which I obviously think is wrong). I think we as a pilot group are being manipulated into accepting a lower value for our profession when that lower value is not necessary. If I've reached a few people with my message then it's been worth it.

So who gets to determine whether someone is "hijacking" a thread? Sounds like maybe you're just uncomfortable with certain messages.
And I'm not going to let you get away with characterizing me as someone who calls everybody who disagrees with me an "idiot." That is far, far from the way I have handled myself here. Alfa brought up the reference to "idiot" and I responded with what I thought. I do think his ideas are idiotic. Show me where I've said that about anyone else.
