I know I heard a guy with one of the communicaiton lanyards talking about breakfast on a flight a couple of days ago.
AQP is down to a single paragraph (basically, how much can the company alter the program without union approval) but negotiations are at a standstill with no further meetings scheduled. Company has moved it off the front burner for now.
Supposed to hear about the breakfast grievance soon, potentially by the end of this month.
Trip trades are a work in progress. One of our scheduling guys is in NYC working on it now. Planning to roll it out beginning with Domestic 767 cargo runs out of CVG, as early as this winter.
C5nwhaleguy, as for AQP, I don't see that as an issue where we have leverage, or where we should use it as leverage. AQP costs the company money vs. how we do it now, and it's a huge win for making training more relevant and more humane for our crews. I've been through the switch to AQP at Brand X, and it's 1000% percent better than what we do now. There's validity to your argument, but I don't think that's the right issue to refuse to engage, IMO.
