I'm a 121 guy and have been offered two corporate jobs and one for a Nascar driver Both corporate gigs were pretty good with one being about halfway up the Fortune 500 list. The Nascar gig had a horrible schedule.
Either way you get there, it's about who you know and who knows you.
I didn't apply or know the companies/driver was looking until they contacted me. I knew people who worked there and they thought I would be a good fit. Ultimately, I decided it wasn't what I wanted to do.
When they were offered, one was a Lear 55/35 and the other had several G-IVs. The Nascar was a Citation.
