I always heard that unless you were heavily connected to someone at Alaska, you'd never get hired. That's simply not true. I was hired without knowing anyone inside the company and it was my qualifications that got me hired, and not who I knew. Don't listen to the negativity of those on this board or you'll never even try. Especially if you listen to the likes of packrat.
