I think there's something wrong if you can't make it to a major/legacy in the next 15 years.
The majority of hires thus far have been military, minorities, and interns. I have yet to see a large number of average regional pilots hired and I doubt I will. Any person who asks me about getting in to this career I tell them join the military or get an internship, going in as a regional pilot is foolish and puts you at a disadvantage.
