So basically what I am reading is that the DAL regional hires currently happening were mandated to be from the regionals. I guess we'll have to see what happens when the flows stop and they get to pick whom they want to hire.
The 2007-08 hiring spree had no such restrictions, and the make up was... guess what? 60/40 with the majority of civilian pilots being regional. 2010 cycle.... 60/40- civilian mostly regional. This cycle: 60/40.
