How much do you think this productivity concession you propose is worth, particularly if its only for 4 months? Do you think that RA will write a billion dollars worth of improvements in our contract for this concession?
First, let's be real. This MEC will help management. Period. They have Desi pulling the strings and they have the votes 10-9.
Second, we are due these increases without any concessions. Why you and a few others think it's too much I will never understand.
To me, permanent concessions are out of the question. Let's let them wallow in the mud until we get the deal we deserve.
I oppose any concessions, but that is not the will of the MEC unless it changes. Perhaps we will get some LAX reps that are not on board in the upcoming election.
