Go over the purchase documents again. XE was purchased for about 26 million. ASA alone had a 9 figure cash position, without SKW Inc. Expressjet was purchased By ASA, and briefly became a wholly owned subsidiary of Atlantic Southeast. The two companies were merged when the SOC was issued.
I really love the revisionist history the XJT side spews. They seem to think that by calling it a merger of equals it will give them a better position in SLI. they have sent their troops out to parrot this BS over and over. Fact is, the documents don't lie. Expressjet was a nearly bankrupt carrier, only flying small RJs, which was dumped in a fire sale and ACQUIRED by a profitable airline (ASA). And the SLI arbitration will treat them accordingly, trust me.
