Yes but that's because those guys were already qualified for the SSP. The EtD specifically requires a newhire to upgrade and be a CA at Endeavor two years. There are no upgrades at Endeavor, only a continuing cycle of downgrades and displacements to the LGA and JFK bases. Based on the current fleet plan of only 81 CR9s, unless something changes, there will be no upgrades as Endeavor still has to park all remaining 80-ish CR2s as required by the Delta PWA 50 seat cap. No newhire will upgrade and therefore will not qualify for meeting the requirement of a Delta class date. Most current downgrades are in the 2006 DOH area for some.
