Lots of good observations. Hopefully, you're right. I wonder if the size of Allegiant will really be an issue when it comes to a strike and a subsequent PEB that has historically followed.

True, you're not a huge trunk carrier, but the precedent of NOT socking you with a PEB while hitting the Majors every time might be something the DoT may blink at. Hopefully not though.

It's just too bad when a CEO is unable or unwilling to recognize the fact that without pilots, an airline can't function. After all, the Mutual Aid Pact was outlawed decades ago.
