Twice recently I have been cleared for t/o before the 753 before me has even left the ground! "Colorful" doesn't realy describe the fun!
This is a really interesting phenomena. I remember being a newbie on the 727 and the old grizzled captains waiting for separation before takeoff. And that was pre-GPS, we-are-within-5-feet-of-the-line kind of navigation accuracy. What ever happened to that???? I guess we are all more manly nowadays.
