That attitude has been there from the very beginning. ASA guys proved they don't want to take concessions, and why should they? ASA has been profitable the entire time until they got merged when most guys didn't want that, all for ALPA...but that's another story/problem.
But now we have to listen to a bunch of whining for the LXJT side when the facts are laid out that they don't make money, they won't work with others, constantly throw the blame around, and want to drag the whole thing down if they don't get their way.
Just don't be surprised that ASA and INC are probably seeking to take the problem out of the equation.
And getting personally attacked on here for pointing that fact out sure isn't helping.
I don't hate ASA guys and I haven't talked to anyone that does. I know the "we bought you so get on board" attitude rubs us the wrong way. And it's because of the implications of that comment: those people were all too happy for us to take concessions in order to consummate the merger. And to this day, well yesterday on this thread, we still get the we bought you line from some ASA guys, when it's not even true anyway!
As for profits, like I said, no one has ever denied Asa's profitability or XJT's loses. But no ASA guy here has yet to agree that that is no one but Skywest's fault for negotiating crappy CPAs. That's not placing blame, that's stating facts!
So if making the point that Skywest bought xjt and that the loses are not the fault of the pilot group is whining to you, then I don't know what to tell you.
For example, who is just whined about not making money, not working with others, throwing blame around, and supposedly wanting to drag the whole thing down? I don't hear any xjt people complain nearly as much about what ASA guys supposedly say than I do the other way around. And if you do hear it, it's mostly about the MEC itself. Us xjt people just try to counter the false accusations spewed on here.

The majority of L-XJTer's are great people who want nothing but the best for our combined airline, and we don't come on forums to argue about ridiculously petty things like who owns who or checking in. I know from meeting ASA guys that y'all are great people too, minus the few toolbags that are posting on this thread
