If anyone has been at a commuter for >10 years that is their own fault. Even with 9/11, 2008 financial crisis and age 65 guys hired just pre-9/11 or post-9/11 were hired in the 2005-2008 wave. Guys hired in the mid-2000's have already left when hiring was gearing up in 2010-2013 range and guys hired in the 2008+ range will enjoy a major job in the next couple years.

18 year pay scales at commuters are beyond ridiculous. They are a temp stop in ones career. If you don't want to make the effort to move on and get "stuck", that is on you!
Truth. A capped scale is not enough of a difference to worry about. If we get stuck so be it, the capped rates increase yearly anyway. I'm more worried about being put to the street if we turn this down. Sure they need us, but we could end up having to reapply at PSA or Envoy, with preferential hiring of course. I'm not starting over, I'm positioning to move on.
