The attorneys don't have the power to interpret the constitution and bylaws. Only the EC has the power to do that. But I'm sure you knew that.

Right now we (L-ASA) are under attack. Our QOL (quality of life) is under attack. L-XJT will do anything to keep their outliers, and lately their tactic has been to sell our PBS (and the QOL it gives us) for their outliers, by offering the company a system they know will save the company money at the expense of our QOL. Not only that, they have made a concerted effort to bring this fight directly to the L-ASA pilots, telling them only one side of the story. If you like your PBS and your QOL, it's time to support your MEC and let management know. Because right now, they're telling management we don't care and will take anything. They're claiming the ASA pilots don't support the MEC.
I'm out here fighting for you. I'm sorry if you don't like my tactics. Please feel free to replace me, and I'll gladly go back to my cushy flying job.
I have no insider information. I'm viewed as an information liability, which is fine by me anyway. So don't start makings things up again of what you know nothing of. That's mostly what you do here. You can say whatever you want about what I write here but the fact is that you are the one appointed by the ASA MEC to the joint negotiating committee. So who is the one being sent here to attack?
Look, we had a process agreement that your MEC agreed to before. They can put that agreement back into the next TA. But your MEC has changed their mind and want to fight this out again. If your MEC would just agree to a previously agreed to process, none of this would even be an issue. So don't try to blame anyone else for your MEC's change in stance because the fact is (and you don't dispute it) that the xjt MEC even agree to make the vote equal strength to move forward. But your MEC won't even agree to that! It is a VOTE, not an offer to the company to throw your flight line away in exchange for something in return. Where do you come up with this crap?
As for "outliers" how is us wanting the best parts of our contract any different from you wanting flight line? Hypocrisy much? Both MECs are doing what's in the best interest of THEIR pilots. But only the ASA MEC throws a fit about it when the other does it.
As for bringing this to the ASA pilots and telling them only one side of the story, this is the first I ever hear of that. Our MEC hasn't said anything about talking to your guys about anything. In fact, it's the other way around! And even if it is true, aren't you guys smart enough to know that it would be one sided. And if they are telling management that they will supposedly take anything (which doesn't make sense because previously you said we want to keep our "outliers"), then it will be voted down again.
