It would be interesting to see how the yes voters will feel if there was say some kind of event 6 months for now, i.e terrorist attack, another big financial conundrum then the economy tanks, AAG freezes hiring and they are stuck at a 5 or 6 year FO payscale for 10 years. I suppose realistically if it went down like that PDT would get shut down but still...think about all the guys you fellas have flown with that came to PDT 20 years ago who were just gonna stay for a few years, upgrade then off to the majors...

You are especially screwing future pilots that may try the PDT flow route then get stuck under that garbage agreement.

Flows are far from iron clad and LOC's for airframes are worth nothing without market growth..

Think this through guys..consider worse case scenario before you vote yes to ratify it. If you are not willing to work under this LOA for 10 years then don't pass it because that's damn well what may happen to you.
Its because pilots are so gullible. Unfortunately while we are great a flying planes, many have very little experience in "negotiating" anything. Management is negotiating a contract and they are using a well proven tactic applicable to any negotiation-scaring the other party into acting in the desired way. Management says take this or be shut down and the pilots get scared and act accordingly. If we stop being scared and start thinking practically, we would realize that this is just another threat by management that will not materialize in this environment.

Even If this is passed, PDT will struggle to find people to work for them with 12/4 caps-look at endeavor as a prime example.
