I saw that article about the additional 767's, I was going to ask if additional hiring was required for them or if current staffing can handle them. Also, I saw on a previous post that all or most new hires are going 767 and no 74 is being offered at any base. Assuming this is still true?
We had 20 new hire spots on the 767 on the last vacancy award but that was before we announced these new planes. It wouldn't completely shock me if we hired 100 767 FOs in the next 8 months because we'll need them just to expand 4 airplanes. Then we'll probably lose 20 guys off the 767 to the majors. None of this counts retirements which will result in 767 FOs with 3 years moving to the 747. The hiring that Atlas does over the next year should be epic. I could see us hiring 150-200 people.
