Since you seem to be of the impression the pilot groups control what the airlines do, furloughs will not be necessary at ABX if, as with any moral pilot group, the pilots would stop picking up open time and accepting "junior man" assignments. In fact, if that level of spine were actually shown, they could even recall some of the guys still furloughed while those junior to them have been recalled.
