I think he might have something here...read FAR 61.55 (b) (1) (2) it's for obtaining an "sic only" privileges in a jet without having to go through a sim training center. Basically the ATP rated captain gives you 3 hours of flight time in which you learn procedures, systems and other stuff, log some landing and approaches...get that written and signed by him...go to a FSDO and get your 8710 processed by them or pay a DPE his fee then you're set to be sic part 91 for that aircraft. I don't know if the cj requires two pilots though...if it's certified for one I don't think it'll work; but don't take my word for it.

It's a great way to get some knowledge, fly jet time, make contacts (could lead to more SIC's) and maybe start contracting, hell it may lead to a job...
