Big difference, very important. Any chance if GSO closes down in order to do hubs that there would be a CLT base? How big are republics ops through CLT?

CLT is not a ten minute drive its 1.5hrs, but... there are many flights so either driving or flying CLT is an easy commute. Much easier than anything i've got right now....

what is the signing bonus at for the E170/E175 now? How much of that is lost to taxes?

Are there pay rigs for reserve pilots if you fly: IE 4 hour minimum for short call, 5 hour minimum for Airport Reserve?

What is the actual pay scale?

Can you change equipment as an FO, as in take the Q for the high signing bonus then bid to E170/E175 after first year?
Let me see what all I can cover:

Most junior GSO FO is July '13 per the september awards

Haven't heard much rumor of a CLT base. I think most CLT flying comes from GSO DCA and PHL, but i'm not on the YX side of the house so someone else might be able to give more insight there.

Last I heard a month ago, signing bonus for Ejet was 7k, Q400 is 12k. Ejet has a 2 year, 20k training contract that is prorated from completion of training. Leave after a year and owe 10k, etc. Tax-wise, I saw about 30% come out of the two bonus checks, but then I got most if not all back in tax returns. Bonuses are taxed at the highest bracket initially.

We currently have no rigs or min day. Only exception is reserves get 4hrs min/day if they're used. Currently no long call or airport reserve for pilots, only 1.5hr short call.

FO Pay Scale from our current contract c.2003:
1. 22.95
2. 30.88
3. 35.52
4. 36.62

Seat lock: currently a hot button issue. Company says when you're hired into the Q that there's a 1 year lock, but the company has also had a standing policy that FO's are seat locked until upgrade, and after that the only way to move around is if a pay raise is involved (i.e. moving from the 145 to 170). Any current Q drivers on here could give you a better picture on what's happening there.

EFBs: Pilots currently have iPads. Once 80% of the pilots complete the required training(it takes an hour, get it done), a 6 month trial starts carrying paper and iPads, and then in theory we'll start ditching paper. Until then we're still paper.
