Because our entire MEC will cast votes for 1 candidate and that candidate will be decided at BOD when all the back room deals are struck. Nonsense. He will matter because the Captain Representative is a MEC member (and a Board of Directors member too) with roll call voting privileges, representing his Council's wishes. Pretty sad you believe everyone in the union engages in "back door deals."
