Just about everybody who is familiar and/or has firsthand experience with CDO's knows that most pilots do not sleep during the day and that they plan on getting their sleep during the break between flights at the hotel on the CDO. Just because there's not some study or statistic to support it, doesn't mean it's not a fact.
Perhaps with your own experience, this is the case. That doesn't make it the case with the majority though. I know pilots that have done an entire month of CDOs, and they most certainly did sleep during the day. CDOs have been done for years, and been done safely. That doesn't mean I want them at DAL, but it does mean that your stance on this issue is lacking factual support.
