Who said 40 captains displaced? At 10 capt per airplane or more there will be by next yr 80 plus capt displaced. Most of them are avg age 55. And what is funny is now they will displace the RD 777 guys who intern displace on down the line. This could be a huge ramifications to our group. You guys ***** about pilots staying till 65! Now when you have a chance to get them to leave early you don't want them too. Go figure...
There is not a 55 year old at this company that will leave for an early retirement program. ESPECIALLY one that has the seniority to hold the whale. Anybody that thinks they will is smoking weed. If you want t realistic look at this, take anybody on the whales between 64 and 62. Anybody outside that window will displace anyway.
