When I got hired in 2005, "they" said we'd all be wide body captains in 5-7 years. I'm now in year 9 and bidding in the bottom 10% of the 777 as a F/O, the bottom 25% of the other widebody fleets. Still probably looking at 5-7 years to WB captain. There's just no way to predict.

Well maybe one...at UPS it is certain that a new hire or even a pilot who has been there 8 years will not make captain in the next 15 years.....that you can take to the bank......
Well based on Albies optic and his data and research, I was looking for a "rough idea" not an exact prediction. I didn't mean to cause the conclusion that I wanted a prediction. But thanks everybody for the replies
