Better to be flown by mainline with mainline aircraft at mainline rates than an RJ at the lowest bidder price. If you criticize it and complain it is easy enough for delta to lay subpar wages to a regional to fly the same routes on a 76 seat aircraft. Please remember that when you think about complaining.
The 717 looks like a great airplane. I just threw my bid in for 717 NYC FO (seat locks are waived for a new category or base) and it looks like a 5 day differences course from the md88, so I could potentially be on it as soon as I'm done with md88 OE. 30 FO vacancies in NYC on the 717, and only 5 people senior to me have bid it thus far. Holding a line with weekends off and BOS overnights? Yea I can do that
