The brits pop an engine in dramatic fireball right after takeoff and still continue to 5000 miles to destination. Why are we diverting so much?
They ran out of gas and did not quite make it to the destination. The diverts did not seem to have a pattern. They were mechanical and all appeared to be well handled by the flight crews.
