After 20 years in the airline business, and 14 years at Delta, including 5 on furlough, I believe I've earned the right to say that.
But forget all that. I'm just a jaded senior FO who's more than happy to ensure you never buy a drink if and when we ever fly together.
Forgive the thread hijack, but to all the AA guys, don't strive for Delta parity, aim for doing better than us.
Well said, and very kind of you sir. I mistook you for being a DAL koolaid drinker, so I apologize for that. Im a lot like you, i like DAL but make no mistake its still a concessionary contract with major room for improvement in pay and work rules. It surprises me when I talk to a DAL pilot who thinks everything is sunshine and roses despite the fact that they still haven't come close to contract 2000. If I stay at DAL I'm prepared to roll up my sleeves along with you.
