Compass, mesa and republic are all still adding large jets for AAG. Not to mention the additional planes that hang in the balance with piedmont and envoy.Where will Awac place their planes? United, delta or AAG dosent want them.I just think they have waited too long to upgrade their fleet.I think they will just ride it out, absorb as much cash as they can and then be done with it.I could be wrong but it's alot to consider.
In the MOU it allows AAG to expand express flying by another 1/3 over current levels over the next couple years. I would expect to see a lot more 175's in the future (and not at mainline). Yep, the APA/USAPA traded scope for $$ just like all mainline pilot groups do. Frustrating as hell.
Of course, the fact that a dozen 190 CA spots went un-bid a couple months ago (then they just got rid of those slots) certainly doesn't help the case that they should be at mainline.
