Does anybody else see the pointlessness of this kind of balkanizing, and that for all practical purposes how useless the discussion is?

EVERY single discussion throughout society these days pivots on (in no particular order and not inclusive):

Race, sex, sexual orientation, sexual identification, ethnic heritage, poor, lower middle class, middle class, middle-middle class, upper middle class, upper class, sorta-rich, rich, uber-rich, Gates-rich, black collar, gray collar, blue collar, dingy collar, white collar, no collar, Gen X, baby boomer, conservative, liberal, socialist, anarchist and an ever shrinking handful of simple "Americans".

What does "collar color" have to do with anything? I know plumbing contractors without a GED that make more than ANY pilot on Earth. I know "executives" that work 300% more than me and make considerably less but are "management"...CEOs/CFOs...whatever.

Everybody answers to somebody and these kind of discussions DO NOTHING to make our respective contracts any better or garner more respect from anybody.

Apparently, somebody has been watching "Hoffa", and feels the nostalgic need to stand around a 55 gallon drum of burning garbage carrying a crowbar with a Camel hanging in their lips shouting "power to the people". GMAFB.

They look at ALL of us as the enemy and no matter how much any of you calls yourself "blue collar,". NONE of them would honor OUR picket lines IF we would ever be allowed to strike, which we won't even if Bernie Sanders, Al Franken or Michael Moore was president.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...we are entirely on our own. It's OUR conduct in the cockpit and on the line that will decide our prosperity...not balkanizing labels and pointless romantic rhetoric.
