No that grapevine is incorrect. I personally know 2 people that have been called for interviews this week. On another note, with the numbers of required pilots listed above, how long can one expect to be on rsv in jfk?

Resv in JFK on the E190 is running about 8-12 months... As one of them I can say that the E190 seems to still be way over staffed. If you live in in base resv will be awesome because you never fly... Now if your a commuter it totally sucks... You fly to New York and will do nothing but sit in a crash pad with people asking you why you are always there. In the last 30+ days I've flown 2.1 hours, and they are always days trips for the most part.
I'm around the 2600ish on the list and the guys from my class in BOS are back on resv and from what they tell me they never fly either.
That being said the Airbus is the total opposite... Resv is about 3 months and you will fly all the time in JFK.
I'm 37 and in my class out of about 25 I couldn't hold the Airbus. The thing that really sucks is you get to see guys junior to you have 16-18 days off on the bus while on the E190 I'm at 12 with no real light at the end of the resv tunnel.
If you commute and get the E190 stand by for major frustration. I'm losing my mind looking at the same walls for months.
