For the record, I don't jump seat, I don't travel on holidays, I live in base, I don't utilize the AA route structure to travel period as I can get anywhere I need to go on the LUS system. A jump seat war does me no harm at all. All a jump seat war does is hurt the pilots from ALL carriers who are forced to commute. I've seen more than one anxious Eagle pilot come up to ask for a ride with the nervous "I'm with Eagle" attitude clearly hoping one of these two guys has not been screwed by one of his "brothers" Maturity is not measured on a vote based on a decision you feel is best for your own personal reasons, job, and family. Call me selfish, but ensuring I can provide for my wife and kids comes before ensuring I do what is best for the outcome of negotiations at Eagle. What I will not do is leave anyone behind. I will gladly take a delay for ballast on the 200 to ensure every last person is able to get to work, and more importantly get home. Call PSA scabs (even though no one has crossed a pocket line so you may want to refresh on what a scab is) or scum all you want, but there are a lot of decent people here that would do the same for any pilot out there.
