How would an AME know about the claim, or your tinnitus? There's no test for tinnitus so you would have to disclose it. Even then, except in very very rare cases, the doctor can't hear it. If you can pass your hearing test, I don't see the issue. Is it disqualifying by itself? I don't think so. IIRC, I told the flight surgeon about mine and he suggested minimizing salt and caffeine.
