As I read through these threads the past few days it feels like Deja Vu C2012. Nothing has changed. We are going down the same path. No lessons learned (unless the line pilots vote down the turd of a TA that will be presented as good). All the same insiders are here interjecting red herrings, doubt, confusion. The survey is written in an ambiguous, non-definitive format.
This will be followed by an underwhelming TA which will include CDO's "which the pilots clearly requested in the survey", "pay banding which the pilots clearly requested in the survey", trading away more profit sharing for small raises which the pilots clearly requested in the survey". It will have pay rates that get us no where near restoration and then wait for it......a fear campaign/ sales job that will include "TVM", "the second offer will be worse". Road shows will have guys misrepresenting the facts with no pro/con....only how amazing this TA is. No white papers. C2012....rinse repeat.
Two ideas to counter the nonsense. 1. Create a donation website. Use those funds to hire an expert to perform an accurate analysis and write an accurate white paper representing facts only of the actual pros/cons 2. When the half truth talking points are being disseminated at road shows, get out your handy camera phone and capture it in digital video as a living record. After the snookering is complete and another meager contract based upon inaccurate info/ fear is voted in, plaster the internet/YouTube as a warning to future Delta pilots for contact 2020. Also it will help determine who should be voted off the DALPA island.
