1. When American Eagle changed it's name to Envoy - That was a red flag to remove the brand name away in case management needs to "adjust" and close the carrier.
2. Yah PSA pilots seemed to be the bad guys this time, but the real problem is people willing to fly for less money than what the fast food workers where doing a walk out for.
3. Envoy pilots shot down a couple TAs and now Mgmts looking to sink the knife in because of it. This is sad because Envoy pilots are working hard to not only save their careers but better the industry a bit more. But this is what happens when you stick your neck out after your competition has already folded. It gets chopped off...... Question now is will this cause Envoy Pilots to fold? Parker and teams willing to shutdown Envoy if they don't so it's a dangerous game they're playing. But it wouldn't be so dangerous if airlines like 9E, PSA, Gojet, Compass and Mesa all had competing contracts. Sad part is they'll never grow a pair because they know others will do to them what they are doing to operators like Envoy........
Question to Eagle Guys:
If a pilot was going to apply for a job at a regional - who would you prefer them to apply to - or asked another way, who should they stay away from to help the industry?
You forgot one.................. So sad but it's time for Envoy pilots to save their jobs or face the street.
