I agree. Regionals weren't meant to make one happy. It's a stepping stone to get on with majors. But when other factors caused regionals to become a career, that's when crap hit the fan. You will never get mainline pay or QOL even of you operate similar seat aircraft. Of course undercutting one another for peanuts is horrible but when given the choice to give a little to get a lot more back versus not compromising and getting shut down, what can one do??? Maybe when AA comes back to eagle in 2016 to renegotiate, eagle will realize they're not too big to shut down. Even in 2016, eagle will be 3x the size of PSA or 5x the size of PDT now when AA threatens them again. Say no then, and I will shut my mouth and show respect like what 39% of my peers did when faced with real threat. Or is AA bluffing again?
