People can try to apologize for it all they like on here. The simple fact is the vote was to knowingly take eagle airplanes.
Eagle NEVER had 900's to take. A deal was offered to Eagle for large regional aircraft and a deal was offered to PSA for large regional aircraft. All we knew was AAG had an order for 60 E175's and 30 900's. No one knew PSA was going to get the 700's from Eagle. What you can't say is PSA too Eagle's airplanes. You were offered a deal and you said no. They never belonged to Eagle, in fact Eagle made it clear they didn't want them. PSA opted to accept the deal. Old saying you snooze you loose. A company is not going to sit around and wait for a group to decide they want the aircraft now, and if you were asking too much there is someone out there in a position to FO it cheaper.
