Yup, just the opinions of one guy that doesn't have a vote and really, probably shouldn't care since I'm not directly impacted.
But that attitude is pervasive and, in this guy's opinion, symptomatic of pilots who love to complain about their union without themselves (as individuals and a group) having a shred of unity.
Having been involved in the industry since 9/11, it kind of blows my mind that pilots seemingly haven't learned ANYTHING from their shared experiences...experiences that are rationalized away as a unique one-off deal, when the reality is they have been repeated time.and time.and time again in the last 13 years.
Sadly, perhaps that shouldn't surprise me. The names/airlines change, but the story remains the same as really, PILOTS never change.
