Because you have to use your company e-mail to start the process, AND you have to supply your username, the company has the right to read ALL traffic within your company e-mail account. So, the company has the right to see you've registered, and knows your username.

Ok so then just ask the mod to change your user name and email once you are validated. Simple.
With the other board the company can always see what you are posting, all the time. Everyone knows that snitches show posts to management. Come on man. It's a no brainer.
