We have had DCI pilots list for a jumpseat 5 hours in advance, then go fly his/her last turn. I had this happen once on a Pinnacle flight. I didn't make a big deal about it because the kid flew for Pinnacle so he was ahead of me anyway. I did witness this first hand though. This was about 6 years ago.
I'm still confused. Is the sole "problem" being addressed related to listing on DCI flights? Does this have anything at all to do with mainline flights? Thanks!
