Having ALPA* and their pack of "Not ready for prime-time" attorneys sending an "information request" could very well be intimidating(and if you don't think it's a threat, enjoy Fantasy Land). Whoever ran that site didn't collect membership fees and there was no advertising, so they would need to pay for legal representation themselves.
