Aviation is a small community and I can guarantee you, if I'm ever in a position where I have a say in who gets hired (ie the hiring board) you can bet your ass that unless you're banging the CEO's daughter, you're not getting hired.
I'm not really sure the point in this reply? However I'm at PSA, I didn't vote for the contract and I guess that makes me garbage for needing a job to pay the mortgage. I am a grown up and if I'm denied the jumpseat I'll take it like an adult and walk away. One day the guy that denied ME the jumpseat will in turn need something from someone more desperately than I needed that ride and he/she will be denied. Sticks and stones......in this case to the next jumpseat for a ride.
