The thing is, the smart people have already fled the Districts (District 29 in her case) so only the stupid people are left to vote for them.


In this case, though, even her family realizes she needs rehab -- they just can't seem to find her. Between this episode and her falling off of a bar stool in the hotel bar (she hangs out in a hotel in Nashville, and still manages to submit the largest expense reports of all state senators for travel expenses), even her constituents are beginning to suspect something's up.
