It probably was one of the worst place to sit reserve. But we all share horror stories and think our own reserve was the worst but I sat rsv for two years and dreaded schedulers. Airline policy was to understaff and use the rsv to fill the rest. HOWEVER, things changed. I'm sitting rsv again but definitely not like before. They can't just fly you 'til 72 hours and make you sit hot rsv rest of the month. New schedulers are a lot nicer. Actually I heard a rumor our new president gave them a speech about never to talk to our pilots in a rude manner or they'll be looking for a new job.
