I agree, if it's a candidate from the "other side" as this side states, it wouldn't be long before something similar surfaces. Nothing clean in politics, if you put your name on the hat, be ready for stuff like this, if you are running in the premises of bringing "transparency" you have to lead on it.

In case anyone is wondering, Cole won the appeal at the NTSB, and was cleared. Call him, email him and ask. Now when it comes to union politics, there are certain rules. Especially at ALPA. Some don't respect them. But we will. We will not attack a fellow pilot's character. There is something called the
ALPA Code of Ethics. We will follow it...
"An Air Line Pilot will conduct his affairs with other members of the profession and with ALPA in such a manner as to bring credit to the profession and ALPA as well as to himself.

He will not falsely or maliciously injure the professional reputation, prospects, or job security of another pilot, yet if he knows of professional incompetence or conduct detrimental to the profession or to ALPA, he will not shrink from revealing this to the proper authorities within ALPA, so that the weak member may be brought up to the standards demanded, or ALPA and the profession alike may be rid of one unworthy to share its rewards."
Shame on the other side. And I bet you that Spiritman's public post, without knowing all the facts of the case, is grounds for a lawsuit or sanction from the union.
