I can count on one hand how many times I have been DH'd around the system. My guess was it was dropped for something more useful.
Not exactly dropped for something else, but since it's pay AND credit it counts toward your monthly max/min. In theory you should be working less if DHs were still a large part of your schedule in the past. It sucks for the reserves and for those who would try to pad their pay with a bunch of PNC.
