My gut says shrink. I'd guess most of the widebody international stuff gets shifted North/South to PHL/JFK/MIA. It'll probably remain a connecting hub for the East coast/Southeast, as long as the new board running the airport don't jack the fees up and run US/AA out of town PIT style.
Just my guess though.
CLT is the second largest hub after DFW and the most profitable piece in the former US Airways system.
Us Aiways was equally profitable to legacy American in q2 despite being 1/2 the size.
DFW will shrink long before CLT.
