I'm ASA and I'm willing to hold the line even if it means unemployment. If they can't pay me what I'm (and WE) are worth then close it all down. I'm not the least bit afraid of losing this dead end job.
Thank you for standing up for yourself and not buying into the whipsaw as the leaders of your union has. This profession needs more pilots like you. The ASA lifers will do anything to keep their jobs. They don't care that their FO's can't afford to feed a family and pay their debts, as long as they are taken care of. Air101 - we have paid attention and we know the risk involved. If Mesa or PSA gets our flying that's fine, at the end of the day who do you think the majors are going to hire? The majors are going to need the Mesa/PSA pilots to fly their shiny RJ's. I can see less of them getting hired at majors as a result.
