I have been off of the 74 for a couple of years now but it was a yearly requirement for Capts to do a two engine out landing. Usually you got the second failure during the go around and got a visual back to the airport. Depending on the instructor, you might just get a 3 engine out go around and then fly back for a full stop landing. Yes it can be done.
the 74 fan fly on one engine?! Holy crap! I gather it has to be the inboard?
I was a P3 guy and we did 2 engine training all the time. It flew pretty well on two engines, though low, slow and heavy was not so great. If it were hot or high though, things got more interesting.
