I used Witopia my 1st year there and another company that I no longer recall during my 2nd year, both seemed to get the job done.
Obviously you have never lived behind the Great Firewall in China, where there have been MANY times that turning on the VPN has made internet browsing significantly FASTER as you no longer have the government censors slowing things down.
But I will probably keep a VPN when I move back home for the security, especially in hotels and public wifi spots.
