How can a regional pay that when most majors historically never started that high. (Why don't people complain when hired at USAirways/Continental about starting at roughly $30,000/year?) AirTran, Spirit, JetBlue, etc. don't even start that high.
I guess people don't complain because there is actually a light at the other end of the tunnel with 2nd year pay.
